Latino 360 Barometer: first wave

Introducing the recurring opinion and consumption study of the Latin American community in Spain: what it measures, with what sample, and what we will publish openly.

Latinos 360 Team

The Latino 360 Barometer is the first recurring study dedicated exclusively to the Latin American population living in Spain: 4.2 million people whose opinions never appear disaggregated in any generalist barometer.

What it measures

Each wave combines a fixed block and a topical block:

  • Situation and expectations: employment, housing, administrative status, intention to stay and family reunification.
  • Household economics: income, savings, remittance sending (frequency, amount and channel), financial inclusion and access to credit.
  • Consumption and brands: mobile carrier, bank, usual shops and willingness to switch.
  • Public opinion: assessment of Spanish institutions and of the countries of origin, and perception of the social climate.

How it is done

Fieldwork relies on Panel 360, with quotas by nationality of origin, length of residence, region, administrative status and income level, and multi-channel collection with fieldwork completed in 72 hours. Each wave publishes its full technical sheet: universe, sample size, margin of error and fieldwork dates. All data collection is GDPR-compliant.

What is published openly

From each wave we will release a data-driven headline and an executive summary in this Observatory. Microdata and bespoke cross-tabulations are reserved for clients and Barometer subscribers.

Calendar

The first wave enters the field this autumn. Results will be presented in Madrid and sent in advance to newsletter subscribers.
